Recent Training Summary

Since my last entry 5 days ago, we have been doing a little bit of training each day, still continuing on the level’s behaviors. No real problems.

I do seem to spend too much time on our alternate behaviors, like "Tag and Touch" and "Spin and Twist." But Touch is a level behavior, and my spin and twist is my trick, so I guess I’m not straying too far.

But we also did two more jump training sessions outside. The most exciting part is she really enjoys using her tug toy for her reward rather than food. I also started using the clicker and the toy. I was afraid that as soon as I "clicked" she would stop and wonder where the food was. But she didn’t. I click, toss the toy and she wants the toy. This makes our jumping and "agility on the flat" training lots of fun and good exercise for both of us.
